“I want to be healthy but I don’t know where, how or when to start!!!”

Sound familiar?

Well here is a secret…JUST START.

More often than not, people are worried about what they see or discover on social media. Months of research spent on how other people are getting fit and what they are doing for their healthiest self. How they got it done. What there secret was. Etc. Etc.

Believe me, I know. I did it too.

And there is nothing wrong with that.

But don’t get stuck there. Instead of spending the majority of your time scrolling through Instagram pages and getting down on yourself JUST START. You’ve already taken a step in visiting this blog and doing the research, so you may be looking for answers and support. This is why I am here.

I am also here to encourage you to get past the fear of starting. You are in control of when you want to begin. Why wait another day? Your healthiest and possibly happiest self is waiting on the other side.

I am sure that you know several ways to be physically active. And I am sure you know generally what TO eat and what NOT to eat. But you may need support with your plan of action.

Here are a few tips to get you started:
You know that phrase about how taking the first step is always the hardest? Well it’s true. It’s because you’re going into new unknown territory. Maybe in your situation you’ve had many starts and you’ve taken that first step but your steps don’t go far enough.
Here’s something to reflect on:

I want you to think about what your healthiest life looks like. Write ALL of those things down and post it on your fridge. Remember, healthy living doesn’t only involve what you eat and how physical you are. Being healthy can involve developing relationships with family, friends or significant others, having fun in your life, seeking out new hobbies or adventures, even being in service to others by volunteering.
